CrossFit is the principal strength and conditioning program for many police academies and tactical operations teams, military special operations units, champion martial artists, and hundreds of other elite and professional athletes worldwide. Our program delivers a fitness that is, by design, broad, general, and inclusive. Our specialty is not specializing. Combat, survival, many sports, and life reward this kind of fitness and, on average, punish the specialist.

The CrossFit program is designed for universal scalability making it the perfect application for any committed individual regardless of experience. We’ve used our same routines for elderly, individuals with heart disease, and High Performance athletes from all sports. We scale load and intensity; we don’t change programs.

CROSSFIT KIDS

Based on the principle of Mechanics, Consistency and then Intensity, CrossFit Kids emphasizes good movement throughout childhood and adolescence. Consistently good mechanics translates to physical literacy, enhanced sports performance and fewer sports injuries for kids. Not only that, a vast body of research indicates that exercise is beneficial to cognitive function, which means consistent adherence to the program can have a positive impact on children’s academic achievement. CrossFit Kids is meant to be BIG fun for all ages. Broad-Inclusive- General fun. Fun means we provide an active alternative to sedentary pursuits, which means less childhood obesity and all-around better health for our children. Further, the needs of second graders and high-school varsity wrestlers differ by degree and not kind; the program is scalable for any age or experience level.

We offer a CFKids class for ages 12 & up three nights a week ongoing. Also, during the summer we have a kids camp program for kids 4 & up.

OLYMPIC LIFTING

Saturday morning we offer an Olympic Lifting class with experienced coaches working on Clean & Jerk, Snatch and lots of progression movements.  This is also an hour of open gym.

We promote daily stretch/mobility routines and often we will lead a session at the end of a class.

Here at CrossFit St George we Prescribe a Whole Food Diet approach.  Humans did not evolve to live off the Highly processed foods that the SAD  (standard american diet ) consists of currently.  We have seen people overcome all sorts of health obstacles which have been created by consuming a poor diet. Some of these include  getting off of medications, reversing type 2 diabetes, and losing 50+ lbs. Let us help you achieve your health and performance goals by guiding you into a Whole Food  and Anti Inflammatory lifestyle, not just “diet”
